Original St. Cecilia's School, at 601 East Capitol Street, from an undated postcard. In addition to Ellen Breen, in whose interview transcript this photo resides, many other Overbeck Project interviewees and Mary Z. Gray attended St. Cecilia's in elementary school or high school. Built in the 1870s, this original building was replaced in 1966 with the building that is located at that site in the 21st century.
